Why promote evaluation and better engage stakeholders?.
To enable resources to be placed where they are needed.
To ensure that there is value for money across board in all development projects.
To promote gender responsive budgeting in parliament during the budgeting cycle.
Promote public participation in the allocation of resources, monitoring  and evaluation .
Committment is to ensure people (public) understand their role through creating public awareness.
Inclusive participation to make the appropriation and budget committee understand why specific allocations need to be done thro breakfast meetings with stakeholders .
Educating the community on the importance of evaluation and them taking part in making follow up during the allocation and implemention of resource
Legislation of evaluation laws
My believe is if public understands the need for monitoring and evaluation money will go down to the projects designed for them.
Corruption at source and implemention will be fought.
With evaluation meaning developments will be seen hence fight poverty and corruption being the enemies of development.
To the global vision share the best practices and ensure that our parterners in different parliaments have implemented the same.
Together we can make it.
