Webinar Description

2015 was a year of global transformation, in which the new Sustaina­ble Development Goals (SDGs) were launched. Evaluation plays a strategic role in policymaking as credible national evaluation systems can help to achieve sustainable, gender-responsive and equitable development goals and strategies. During this webinar distinguished parliamentarian from Nepal Hon. Ananda Prasad Pokharel will discuss the importance of national evaluation policies from parliamentarian point of view and its contribution in promotion of good governance, transparency, learning from experience as well as challenges in establishment and implementation of national evaluation policies and effective mitigation strategies based on Nepal example, while Dr. Barbara Rosenstein will bring more technical views on the topic.
